About

My name is Rob. I live in Perth, Western Australia otherwise known as the most boring city in the world. I am a follower of the paleo/primal lifestyle. Which means I follow the paleolitic or primal lifestyle. I have been doing so for a while and have had a significant health boost since. Some of the awesome benefits since livinig like this is as follows:
  • Psoriasis almost completely gone.
  • No longer sick all winter or when anyone coughs within 1m from where I’m standing.
  • Energy throughout the day.
  • Weight Loss. (16kg at time of writing)
  • Cholesterol reduction.
  • Blood Pressure Stabilisation.
And probably hundreds more things which I can’t tell ATM. The reason I started writing this blog is because when I first started my journey finding information or products or anything in Australia was very difficult. So here is my journey hopefully you will find some information and hopefully you will get serving from it. If you want to contact me please do so!

Hi Rob,
Just thought I’d say hi from across the ditch! Nice to see an Ozzie paleo site, good work.
I am a nutritionist working with the paleo and zone diets (preference paleo but a tweaked zone is good for getting portions and ratios worked out)
I’ve got a blog up and running – and hoping to make it a good resource for Kiwis following a paleo eating plan.

At last, an Australian site, but even better, you are a local..
I’m at Serpentine.
I’ve been Paleo for a little over a year.
A little about my self:
I am a bi-lateral amputee, right arm above elbow and right leg above knee following a motorcycle accident about 23 years ago. Due to a sedentary lifestyle and eating SAD (Australian) I accumulated a few unwanted kilos and didn’t like the way things were looking. I started low carbing via Atkins about 4 years ago and lots of internet reading led me to Paleo which I have found speaks to me on the most intimate level.
I will now spend some time scouring your site. Great to find a fellow Paleo so close. I’m sure I’ll write more.
Cheers for now.

Hey Mate

Been Paleo for four years. Cured a heap of problems. Thanks for the extra sources of GF meats in Perth. Took me a long time to get my suppliers together.

Great site! I’ve been paleo for 4 years and I love stumbling across more and more Australian sites.
I am based in Sydney and spreading the paleo love too, slowly but surely..

G’day Rob,
Just stumbled across your site and great to see another Australian Paleo site (I’ve come across one another). I listen to loads of podcasts from the States and while they’re good they are always referring to US products and other things (they always refer to Kale, which is rare here).
Thanks for putting this together.

I’m live in Perth and I have been on the paleo for quite a few years. I went into Miss Mauds (a chain of Swedish Pastry Cafes in Perth) to buy a drink and noticed that there was a selection of Paleo raw food, gluten free, grain free, sugarless treats. They are delicious I had one that seemed to contain nuts and chocolate, perhaps not for everyday, but certainly pleasant for a special treat. The person who served me explained that they have only been in Miss Maud’s about a week. The founder of Miss Maud’s has just introduced them because she is on the paleo diet and is most enthusiastic about it; apparently her health and energy levels have greatly improved.
